How to Remove the Hydraulic Pistons of the Boot of an Opel Tigra

Model: Vauxhall Tigra MK 2 - Years 2003-2009

Start by opening the rear boot. Once open, you will see the two deployed hydraulic pistons. Each piston is secured with two metal clips. Next to these clips, there is a gap where you will insert a flathead screwdriver, and by levering, you will remove the metal clips from their seat. Now, remove one piston at a time. Be careful, as you need to keep the boot raised during the removal of the pistons, as it will no longer support itself. By doing this, you will have successfully removed the hydraulic pistons from your Opel Tigra.
