How to Replace the Rear Shock Absorber on an Opel Zafira

Before you begin, lift the rear end of your Opel Zafira. Start by removing the rear wheel, unscrewing the relevant fixing bolts. Next, loosen the tension on the shock absorber by raising the base. Once done, unscrew and remove the bolts that secure the shock absorber to the hub support and the chassis. This will free it. Proceed to remove the shock absorber itself, completing the disassembly. To fit the new shock absorber on your Opel Zafira, follow these steps in reverse, and you will have completed the replacement.
