Before proceeding to replace the rear shock absorbers in the Ford Vectra C, position your car on a flat surface or on a ramp. This ensures you can work safely and securely, thus protecting the operator. This is, of course, an operation to carry out whenever maintenance is needed. Once done, remove the wheel corresponding to the shock absorber to be replaced and slightly lift the brake disc using a hydraulic jack. Using the appropriate spanner, remove the shock absorber and install the new one. Reposition the brake disc to its height, mount the wheel, and lower the car from the ramp, and that’s it!
