Subwoofer and Amplifier Installation

Installing a subwoofer and amplifier will greatly enhance the sound quality, although it may reduce space in the boot. Start by disconnecting the battery, removing the glove compartment, and running the power cable for the amplifier directly from the battery (install a fuse) under the scuff plates to the rear compartment; repeat this process to connect the head unit output to the amplifier. Connect the ground wire under the seat bracket by sanding it down. Position the subwoofer and amplifier (screw the amplifier onto the subwoofer) and make the necessary connections, ensuring the wiring is tidy. Reconnect the battery and complete the connections to the head unit.
