In order to replace the glove compartment of the Opel Astra, you need to open the compartment itself by loosening the two screws located on its upper exterior. Once these two screws have been loosened, you will need to disconnect the light located inside, on the side of the compartment. Once this has been removed, you will need to release the internal clips that secure the compartment inside its housing, and completely extract it. At this point, you will be able to insert the new compartment, reconnect the bulb, and secure it with the screws.
