How to remove the air filter from an Opel Astra? Let’s see how to disassemble the air filter from inside the right dashboard. Open the glove compartment, unscrew the screws located on the glove compartment. Remove the glove compartment from the dashboard, and take off the plastic covering of the air filter. Extract the cabin filter from its housing. Insert a new air filter, ensuring it fits snugly around the walls of the box, and refit the cap of the filter box. Reassemble the glove compartment and tighten the screws. Close the glove compartment at the end of maintenance.
