Replacing Cylinder Head Fixing Bolts

When overhauling the cylinder head due to overheating issues, it is always advisable to use a new set of bolts for its attachment. Start by cleaning the threads of the fixing holes on the cylinder block using a tap of the correct diameter and thread pitch: during this procedure, avoid contaminating the cylinders with debris; once this operation is complete, place the new gasket and the cylinder head, apply copper grease to the bottom of the threads and just below the head of the new bolts, then insert them into their respective seats and secure them in a cross pattern using a torque wrench and a calibrated wrench.
