Instructions for Dismantling the Instrument Cluster

Model: Vauxhall Astra Astra G - Years 1998-2006
Part: Onboard computer

To easily dismantle the instrument cluster, it is suggested to first remove the steering wheel to gain more working space; once the steering wheel is removed (be careful not to rotate the airbag tape), undo the four Torx screws that secure the plastic trim around the dial and remove it; at this point, simply undo the three screws securing the instrument cluster (two on the sides and one in the centre) to extract it from its housing. This operation is very simple and does not require special tools or knowledge.

How to Remove the Oil Filter on a Toyota Yaris

How to remove the oil filter on a Toyota Yaris? This is a simple operation if you follow the correct steps. Lift the car using a column lift or jack. After removing the cover panel (if present), use a socket spanner to unscrew the oil filter holder. Allow the oil to drain into a container for disposal. Remove the dirty and worn filter from the metal container; clean the container and insert a new filter. Screw the filter holder back into its designated housing using the appropriate spanner and lower the car once the job is complete.
