Replacement of External Wing Mirror Glass

Replacing just the glass of the external wing mirror is very simple. The glass is simply clipped onto the internal support; lever the back of the glass to detach it and pull it away from the support enough to disconnect the demisting system wires. Bring the new glass close, connect the demisting system wires, and press on the glass until it clicks into place on the support. A quicker and more economical method could be to have a piece of glass shaped by a glazier and glue it onto the broken one with silicone or double-sided tape.
