How to Replace the Remote Shell on an Opel Astra?

As shown in this tutorial, replacing the remote shell on an Opel Astra is a straightforward task. For this, you will need a small flathead screwdriver, a spatula, and of course, the correct replacement shell. First, extend the emergency key, then open the battery compartment, remove the battery, and separate the two halves of the remote by prying along the joint. Once open, separate both the key and the circuit, transfer them to the replacement shell, and reassemble everything. If necessary, also remove the Opel logo and glue it into its housing.
