Where to find the legal chassis number (VIN) of the Opel Astra G

It is very important to know the exact location of the chassis number of your vehicle. This is because if you need to go to the DVLA for an inspection, you must be able to indicate it accurately, as you cannot expect the engineers at the DVLA to know it for you. In fact, the legal chassis number is not the plate located on the windscreen on the driver's side. That is referred to as the "courtesy plate" and is typically used by dealers to identify the vehicle until it has a registration plate. In the case of the Opel Astra G, the chassis number is stamped in the passenger compartment, on the passenger side, under a plastic plate located near the seat. By removing the plate, you can see the VIN consisting of 17 digits.

How to Check the Oil Level on a Jeep Renegade?

To check the oil level on a Jeep Renegade, you need to open the bonnet to access the components inside the engine bay: on the lower left side of the engine block, you will find the dipstick for checking the level.
