How to Replace the Coolant Temperature Sensor on the Opel Astra H

Replacing the coolant temperature sensor on Opel Astra H models is a very simple procedure. Start by opening the engine bay and disconnecting the battery. Disconnect the negative terminal first, followed by the positive terminal. Once this is done, go to the connector area and remove it using a flathead screwdriver. Drain the coolant reservoir and remove the sensor. Insert the new sensor and reposition the reservoir. Reconnect the connectors and then move to the battery. Refit the battery and close the engine bay.
