Where is the Coolant Temperature Sensor Located on an Opel Astra?

In this tutorial, you will see how to replace the coolant temperature sensor on an Opel Astra, a very simple and quick operation. Before doing this, wait for the engine to cool down to operate safely. Start by opening the bonnet, then locate the sensor on the lower right side of the engine, to your left when facing the vehicle. Disconnect the connector, then unscrew the sensor using a 19mm spanner and quickly insert the replacement to minimise fluid loss.
