The tube connects to the rear, and you can also see the connector with the flexible tube. If this connector becomes loose or disconnected for any reason, it will cause water to leak into the passenger footwell. To fix this, secure everything in place with a couple of zip ties to ensure the connector stays put, as shown in the picture.
