Resetting the service light on an Opel Astra model G, produced from 1998 to 2006, is a very simple task that you can do yourself. First, turn on the ignition and press the button located on the right side of the instrument panel.

This will start the reset procedure. Next, continue to hold the button until the reset is complete.

When the light on the instrument panel has turned off, switch off the ignition. Finally, turn the ignition back on to confirm that the reset has been carried out correctly.
