Video tutorial

This video tutorial will show you how easy it is to deactivate the airbag in the Opel Corsa D series. For safety reasons, the passenger side airbag should only be deactivated when placing a child seat on the passenger seat.

The first step to deactivate the airbag is to insert the key as if you were starting the car and turn it in the lock twice, as indicated in the video. The next step must be completed within 15 seconds of the first and involves pressing and holding the airbag deactivation button located on the dashboard, just below the "hazard warning light" button.

When you hear a beep, you will know you have completed the steps correctly and that the airbag is deactivated. To reactivate the airbag, simply perform the procedure just explained in reverse.
