To reset the Service light on an Opel Vectra, insert the ignition key into the ignition switch and turn it to switch on the instrument panel. Once the panel is on, press and hold the button next to the odometer for about ten seconds.

The Service light will start to flash, at which point you can temporarily release the button; press it again once to make the light go out. After completing the operation, you can turn off the ignition.
