Opel Corsa B Heating Not Working Due to Blocked Heater Matrix

In this video, you will see the cause of the heating failure in this Opel Corsa B; the heater matrix is blocked, resulting in only cold air coming out. The YouTuber removed the expansion tank (which is connected to the chassis by only two bolts) and then flushed the matrix with running water. It is important not to let the fluid from the expansion tank or the flushing of the matrix spill onto the ground; collect it in a large container as it is highly polluting and must be disposed of at an authorised centre. After cleaning, replace the expansion tank and refill the coolant according to the manufacturer's specifications (approximately three litres will be needed).
