How to reset the Service light on the Opel Meriva?

Model: Vauxhall Meriva Meriva A, MK 1 - Years 2003-2010

To reset the Service light on the Opel Meriva, press and hold the button located on the dashboard, between the speedometer and the fuel gauge: keep this button pressed while the ignition is off. While holding the button, insert the ignition key and turn it to switch on the dashboard: once it is on, you will notice that the Service light disappears from the dashboard. You can then release the button and switch off the ignition.
