Operation: How to replace the Opel Meriva steering lock

If the rotation of the ignition key is slightly impeded and the steering lock does not engage during the extraction phase, it may be necessary to replace the cylinder, or the so-called result of the ignition lock; to carry out this operation, the plastic shells that cover the control levers of the light switch must be removed in order to access the ignition lock seat: you will notice a cylindrical plastic lock inside which the lock is located and on the bottom of this there is a slot from which you can see the tab that holds the seat of the lock itself; then insert the ignition key, make the first click to unlock the steering lock and press the tab in order to make it retract and to be able to extract the lock.

How to replace the Ford Transit key battery

Below I will explain how to replace the remote control key battery on the car, take a small screwdriver and pry the rear part of the remote control, (where there is the ring), at which point unhook the back cover and yes will have access to the compartment containing the battery. Always with the help of the small screwdriver, proceed to make the va and lift the battery out of the housing. Then take the new battery (check the type) and place it on the housing, always making sure to position it with the positive pole facing upwards. Finally, close the back cover by re-hooking it to the key.
