How to Remove the Rear Door Panel on an Opel Astra H

Removing the rear door panel on the saloon version of this car model is very simple and does not require special precautions or tools; using a small screwdriver, preferably with a slightly curved and pointed tip, extract the clip that holds the window winder in place and the cap inside the lock release lever, then detach the handle cover.

At this point, unscrew the fixing screws of the panel, including those along the lower edge.

Then lever along the edge of the panel to release the pressure clips and finally disconnect the lock cable.
