Vauxhall Meriva - Video tutorial
Model: Vauxhall Meriva
MK 1, Meriva A
- Years 2003-2010 Over time, the metal cord that connects the handbrake lever to the Opel Meriva may loosen, causing the lever to reach the end of its travel without locking the car. Using a screwdriver, remove the storage compartment panel under the lever and detach the lever boot. After securing the car, lift the rear wheels, using a 10mm socket wrench with extension, tighten the nut to the left of the brake lever and check the braking of the rear wheels by turning them by hand. Repeat this process until the lever locks with five clicks.
