The procedure outlined in this guide will show us how to activate and deactivate the electric handbrake of the Opel Meriva, in a few simple steps. In order to activate the handbrake, it is necessary for the vehicle to be in parking mode (in the case of automatic transmission); then we press the button to activate the electric handbrake, which usually activates automatically when the engine is turned off, as shown in the video. To deactivate the electric handbrake, simply press the button again, where we will see the corresponding indicator light disappear from the instrument panel, following the video until the end!
