How do you replace the timing belt of the Opel Astra?

The procedure for replacing the timing belt of the Opel Astra is carried out by opening the hood, so that access is gained to the components located on the side of the engine block: here it will be possible to identify the timing belt around the respective pulleys. To remove it, it will be necessary to loosen the screws that secure the front right wheel and the corresponding wheel arch; at this point it will be possible to remove the tensioner roller and then slide out the belt. In this way, the new replacement part can be inserted, reassembling the roller and verifying that the engine turns correctly.
