Want to replace a shock absorber on your Opel Astra? Follow this guide. Lift the car with a column lift, remove the wheel using the nuts, and unscrew the lower shock absorber bolt with an air drill or socket wrench. Place a jack under the wheel arm and unscrew the upper shock absorber bolt, then remove the worn part and replace it with a new one as shown in the video. Insert the shock absorber into the wheel housing and secure it at both the top and bottom. Finally, refit the wheel with its nuts.
