Vauxhall Astra - Video tutorial
Model: Vauxhall Astra
Astra H
- Years 2004-2010 Do you want to replace a shock absorber on your Opel Astra? Let's see in this guide how to proceed. We lift the car with a column bridge, remove the rim with the pins and unscrew the lower locking pin of the shock absorber with an air drill or with a socket wrench. We place a support jack under the arm of the wheel and unscrew the pin of the upper shock absorber, subsequently removing the worn piece and replacing it with a new one as in the video. We insert the shock absorber in the wheel housing and screw it both in the front and in the lower part. Finally we reassemble the rim with its locking pins.
