How to Replace the Dashboard Bulbs of the Opel Astra

Model: Vauxhall Astra Astra G - Years 1998-2006

First, remove the three screws located at the three pivotal points on the edge of the dashboard, as well as the three screws on the lower part of the steering column. This will allow you to remove these two parts of the protective panels. Now you can also unscrew the screws that secure the dashboard to your vehicle. Disconnect the plugs located on the back of the dashboard, which can be quite awkward as they are short. You should now have the entire dashboard removed, allowing you to work directly on its rear side. Make the necessary replacements and retrace the steps in reverse for reassembly.

How to Reset the Central Locking of the Volkswagen Golf 4?

If the central locking system of the Volkswagen Golf 4 is not working, it is likely necessary to reset the system: to do this, open the driver's door and detach the side panel of the dashboard next to the steering wheel. Under this panel, you will find the fuses, including the one for the central locking, which is indicated in the manual as number 14.
