In this video tutorial we will see the step by step instructions to replace the engine oil, brake oil and air filter, following the instructions below. First of all, let's remove the compartment under the saddle to access the engine spark plug; we remove the pipette and use a socket wrench to unscrew and replace it. At this point we unscrew the side cover of the air filter, to remove it, as shown in the video; then we unscrew the oil vent bolt to drain, finally pouring the new one, following the video to the end!

How to change the engine oil and oil filter of BMW R1200 RT

In this video tutorial we will see how to replace the engine oil and the oil filter, carrying out the routine maintenance service, of the BMW R1200 RT motorcycle. First of all, we put our motorcycle on the central stand and begin to unscrew the oil vent bolt that we find under the engine, letting it drain into a container for about ten minutes; then unscrew the oil filter cartridge with the appropriate wrench, replacing it with the new one (screwing in by hand and gently tightening). We just have to unscrew the filler cap and pour in the new engine oil, filling up to the maximum level mark!
