How do you change the remote key battery on your Peugeot 206? Follow this detailed guide. Take your remote key and use a screwdriver to remove the tiny screw on the plastic cover.

Pry the key apart with the screwdriver until the cover opens. Remove the worn battery, take a new one of the same size and voltage, and insert it into the designated slot.

Refit the cover on your remote by pressing the key case until you hear it click into place. Finally, screw the screw back into the key cover and check that it functions correctly.
