How to Remove and Replace the Timing Belt on a Peugeot 407

In this video, we will see how to remove and replace the timing belt on a Peugeot 407. Lift the car on a column lift and remove the right front wheel using a suitable socket wrench. Then, remove the right wheel arch liner with a screwdriver (remove the plastic rivets). Using a fixed wrench, loosen the tensioner pulley and slide the belt off its seat. With a socket wrench, unscrew the fastening bolt of the tensioner pulley, and remove the water pump as shown in the video. Fit the new water pump, the tensioner, and the belt itself, tightening everything with the socket wrench. Finally, refit the rivets and the wheel arch liner, and reattach the wheel with the tyre to the vehicle.
