How to replace the air filter of the Peugeot 2008

Replacing the air filter on a Peugeot 2008 car is a simple and quick operation that can be done independently. The air filter is located inside the front hood, so we begin the replacement procedure by opening the hood. By pushing on the two support tabs, we disconnect the air intake duct. Using a flat-head screwdriver, we push on the yellow part of the manifold to remove it. Using the same screwdriver, we loosen the support ring that holds the air box. We tilt the box upwards to remove it. Using a Phillips screwdriver, we unscrew the six screws on the flange to remove it. Once the box is open, we remove the filter and insert the new one, closing the cover and tilting it inside the hood to insert the box. We tighten the support ring and connect the connector. We insert the air intake duct and close the front hood.
