How to remove the BSI from a Peugeot 407 or 307

In this video we can see how to remove the BSI unit from a Peugeot 407 (or 307) but also from a Citroen C4/C5: to do this we will have to remove the glove compartment. The youtuber is having issues with the car, and suspects that water may have entered this component. In this case it is a right-hand drive, so inside the glove compartment we also find the fuse box. If our car had left-hand drive, this complication will not be there, but it will still be necessary to disconnect the battery beforehand, as we will be working on the BSI unit. It is perhaps unnecessary to remind that the car must be turned off (remember to have the radio code at hand). We then remove the glove compartment, using a 20 mm torx key; we find five in the upper part and four in the lower part.
