How to replace the rear window water tube of the Peugeot 208.

Let's see how to solve a common problem with the Peugeot 208 MK1: the rubber tube that carries the fluid for the rear window washer dries out and hardens due to temperature fluctuations, preventing water from spraying onto the rear window. We need a new tube of the appropriate diameter: We will remove the interior trim on the side of the rear window, from the third brake light; detach the clips that hold the panel, being very careful as the clips are very fragile. This way, we will see the path of the tube and the washer nozzle. Disconnect the tube from the nozzle (which is located on the third brake light) and follow the path of the tube downwards, inside the door seal, until it connects in a central position inside the door; disconnect it from here as well. Take the new tube and insert the end of the main connector until you feel a firm resistance, then slide the tube along the path of the old one. Connect it to the nozzle and check that water flows out. If everything works, we can reassemble the trims.
