The issue described in the video regarding the Peugeot 3008 is almost always due to a missing input that the ECU deems unsafe to turn off the engine. The P16A3 code mentioned in the video is just one of many possible codes.

The main cause of the malfunction is the battery; both batteries must be in excellent condition to function. Other common causes to check could be low tyre pressure, the engine not reaching operating temperature, a too high delta T between the outside and inside temperatures, or a faulty sensor.

The solution indicated in the video, to clear the P16A3 code, is a temporary fix; if the error reoccurs, the problem is physical (an ECM module needing software updates) and requires intervention from a specialist workshop.
