How to Change the Air Filter in a Peugeot 206

To replace the air filter in a Peugeot 206, open the bonnet and locate the air filter box, situated at the top of the engine, connected to the intake pipe. The box is generally secured with some Torx screws or metal clips. Unscrew the screws or unclip the clips holding the cover of the filter box closed. Carefully lift the cover and remove the used air filter by pulling it from its seat. Check the inside of the box and clean any dust or dirt residues with a dry cloth. Insert the new air filter in the same position, ensuring it is well seated and adheres correctly to the edges. Replace the cover in its original position and re-screw the screws or reclip the clips. Finally, close the bonnet and start the engine to check that everything works correctly.
