Here are the instructions to perform routine maintenance by changing the engine oil and oil filter on a Peugeot 504. First, lift the vehicle and begin draining the engine oil by unscrewing the drain bolt located on the sump, allowing it to drain into a container for about ten minutes.

Next, replace the oil filter cartridge, accessing it from the engine bay as shown in the video.

At this point, unscrew the filler cap and top up with new oil until reaching the maximum level.
