How to Check the Engine Oil Level of a Peugeot Car

In this video, follow Peugeot's tips for keeping an eye on the engine oil level. First, park the car on a flat surface and ensure the engine has been off for at least ten minutes before checking the oil. Open the bonnet and pull up the dipstick, clean it with a cloth, then reinsert it. Pull it out again and check where the oil level is; it should be near the maximum level. If it's below, you need to add oil. Open the filler cap and pour in a small amount, then measure again. The level must never exceed the maximum! Use only the correct oil: not all oils are the same.
