To change the engine air filter on a Peugeot 3008, lift the bonnet and locate the air filter housing in the engine compartment. Remove the fastening devices of the cover, which may be screws or clips depending on the version, and open the housing. Extract the worn filter element and check that there are no accumulations of dirt or debris inside the box, removing them if necessary. Position the new filter in the correct seat, ensuring it fits snugly against the edges of the housing. Then, close the cover and secure it again with the relevant fastenings. Before finishing the job, ensure that the intake ducts are correctly connected and that the filter cover is tightly closed to prevent unfiltered air from entering.
