How to Replace the Cabin Filter on a Peugeot 308 MK2

The cabin filter on the Peugeot 308 MK2 is located on the passenger side, behind the side panel of the dashboard. To access it, remove the two plastic clips with a screwdriver and detach the panel. The filter housing is secured by a cover: press the tab with your thumb to unlock it. Remove the old filter, taking care not to spread dirt in the cabin. Before inserting the new filter, vacuum the housing to remove debris. The new filter has an arrow indicating the direction of airflow: it must be oriented from front to back. Insert the new filter into the housing, refit the cover (first engaging the two securing tabs), and close the panel. Reattach the clips. The replacement is simple and quick.
