Replacing the battery in a Peugeot remote is an operation that takes place entirely on the key without intervening on the car. The procedure begins by locating the opening point of the shell: in the video, you can see the use of the integrated metal key or a small lever to carefully separate the two halves of the remote.

Once the Peugeot remote shell is opened, the button battery becomes visible inside the housing.

Remove the flat battery carefully, avoiding bending or damaging the contacts. Next, insert the new battery, ensuring the correct orientation as indicated by the original position, as shown in the video.

Once the battery is inserted, close the Peugeot remote by rejoining the two parts of the shell until it clicks into place. At the end, check the functionality by pressing the buttons to ensure the remote responds correctly after the replacement.
