To change the wipers on a first-generation Peugeot 308, first bring the wiper blades to the maintenance position. Immediately after turning off the ignition, operate the wiper lever: the arms will move vertically on the windscreen, making replacement easier.

Gently lift one arm and locate the release button on the wiper attachment. Press it and slide the old wiper off the mount.

Insert the new wiper of the correct size into the attachment and push it until you hear a click. Ensure it is securely fixed, then carefully lower the arm onto the glass and repeat the operation on the other side.

Finally, turn on the ignition and operate the wiper lever again to return the arms to their normal resting position.
