Video tutorial

To replace the battery in a Peugeot 108, lift the bonnet and locate the battery in the engine compartment. If there is a cover, remove it for full access.

Start by disconnecting the negative terminal, then move to the positive terminal. Next, loosen and remove the bracket that holds the battery in place.

Carefully extract the battery, avoiding excessive tilting. Insert the new battery in the same position, ensuring it is securely seated, then refit it. Connect the positive terminal first, followed by the negative terminal.

Once the installation is complete, close the bonnet and start the car to check that the electrical system is functioning correctly.
