Video tutorial

To replace the starter motor on a Peugeot 206, open the bonnet and locate the starter motor, usually fixed near the clutch bell housing on the gearbox side. Disconnect the negative terminal of the battery for safety.

Remove the electrical cables from the starter, noting the position of each connection. Unscrew the fixing bolts that secure it to the engine and carefully remove the worn starter.

Insert the new starter into the same housing, aligning the fixing holes, and tighten the bolts securely. Reconnect the electrical cables to their respective terminals, ensuring they are tight, then reconnect the negative terminal of the battery.

Start the vehicle to check that the new starter functions correctly.

How to Activate the Disabled TRC on the Toyota Yaris?

As the video clearly shows, disabling or activating the traction control (TRC or ESP) on the Toyota Yaris is very simple. By default, the traction system activates every time the vehicle is started. To disable it, simply press the button depicting a skidding car located in the centre of the vehicle where the controls are, such as the hazard lights and the radio, but near the handbrake. Once disabled, the TRC off light will illuminate on the dashboard. To reactivate it, just press the same button again.
