The recirculation function prevents outside air from entering the cabin. In other words, with recirculation activated, the fan circulates the same air within the cabin, without drawing in new air from the outside environment.

Consequently, recirculation not only temporarily blocks the influx of heavily polluted outside air (for example, when driving in a poorly ventilated tunnel, behind an old diesel, a non-catalytic petrol vehicle, or behind the exhaust of an oil-burning engine), but also helps to reach the desired temperature more quickly when it is very hot or very cold outside the vehicle.

The video shows the operation of the opening and closing system of the air ducts for the influx of outside air located behind the centre console.

How to Remove the Rear Seat of a Hyundai Tucson?

To remove the rear seat of a Hyundai Tucson, follow these steps. Start by moving the front seats to their most forward position to gain space. Next, locate the release lever on the underside of the rear seat, near the floor. Press this lever down while pulling the seat upwards to unlock it from the anchor pins. Once unlocked, tilt the seat upwards and forwards to remove it from its position. Repeat this process for both sides of the rear seat.
