Fuse positioning on a Peugeot 307 to solve a fan issue

If the fan in your Peugeot 307 is not working at any of the four speeds, nor is the air recirculation or air conditioning functioning, you may have a burnt-out fan. The fan is located behind the dashboard, so you need to remove the steering column cover, shift the entire pedal assembly, and then you can access the fan, which requires a torque wrench to remove. This is a very important job. Before doing this, check the fuses, both in the cabin fuse box located near the driver's side dashboard at the bottom left, and in the engine compartment where there is another fuse box under the cover. The fuse for the fan has a relatively high amperage. However, be cautious. If all the fuses are functioning correctly, the wiring could still be the issue. One thing that not everyone knows is that there are hidden fuses in the Peugeot 307. These are master fuses hidden under the ECU. With the vehicle off, you need to remove the connectors to access these fuses, which should be tested for optimal performance.
