Removing the Starter Motor on Peugeot 307

Replace the starter motor from within the engine bay with a new one. Lift the front bonnet to access the starter motor. Remove the battery and its tray, and also remove the air filter housing. Locate the starter motor, disconnect the power terminals using pliers or a screwdriver depending on the pressure of the tabs, unscrew the securing bolts of the starter motor with a socket wrench, and remove it from the engine bay. Install the new starter motor by connecting the power cables and securing it with the associated screws. Refit the battery and the dedicated air filter.
