Positioning Vehicle on Axle Stands

Before positioning the axle stand under the vehicle, ensure it has the correct load capacity to support the weight of the vehicle. Next, lift the vehicle with a jack, placing it under a reinforcement rib located beneath the edge of the sill to avoid deforming the bodywork; then insert the axle stand also under a reinforcement rib and lower the vehicle onto the stand: if the support does not appear secure, lift the vehicle again with the jack and reposition the axle stand.
