Instructions for Replacing the Fuel Filter

Model: Peugeot 106 MK 1 - Years 1991-2004
Part: Diesel fuel filter

The fuel filter is located underneath the vehicle near the left rear wheel: raise the vehicle on suitable axle stands, unclip the retaining strap of the filter and the inlet and outlet pipes (simply press on the release to disconnect them). Then, fit the new filter, ensuring the fuel flow direction indicated by an arrow on the filter itself is respected: connect the pipes and secure it to the vehicle's chassis with the retaining strap. It is very important to carry out this maintenance periodically to avoid filter blockage that could compromise engine performance.
