Engine Oil and Filter Replacement

When changing the engine oil, it is advisable to also replace the filter due to the low cost and ease of installation. After draining the used oil through the drain plug on the sump, locate the oil filter cartridge directly above the sump, near the drain pipe. Use a metal band type spanner to unscrew the old filter (some oil may spill out). Apply clean oil to the gasket of the new filter and screw it in without exceeding the torque specification. Finally, fill the engine with new oil until the correct level is reached.
