Peugeot 307 - Video tutorial

Model: Peugeot 307 MK 1 - Years 2001-2009
Part: V-belt
Operation: How to replace the service belt on a Peugeot 307

To replace the service belt on a Peugeot 307 you need to get a 15mm combination wrench. Let's start by opening the hood and lifting the car safely with lifters or ramps. Once the belt is located, remove it and check that all the gears turn well. The new belt, buying it on the major e-commerce platforms, costs from 9.75 to 13 euros, depending on the brand. Install it starting from the top gear, and be careful to respect the direction of rotation of the belt, which is printed on the top. Once it has been installed as indicated in the video drawing, pull the belt tensioner well, so that the tension is the right one: this is obtained by pulling the pulley sideways. At this point you can pull the car down and the job is done.

How to open the Fiat Panda petrol tank flap

In this video we proceed to the explanation, also verbal, of the technical operation of the opening and closing of the petrol tank cap. With the ignition on, the fuel cap, or rather the fuel filler flap, is open and therefore accessible. When trying to turn off the aforementioned ignition and then lock the car with the key, it is assumed that the petrol door, as well as the doors of the car, are closed, but this is not the case, in fact the latter in practice always remains open. Ultimately, you can access the fuel tank whether the car is closed or open.
