If the remote control that opens and closes the doors of the Peugeot 208 stops working, it may be due to the battery, which has been depleted over time and use. To replace it, turn the remote control with the side with the emblem facing up, use a blade to lift the cover and access the battery compartment, use a pointed tool to remove the old battery and replace it, within a minute to not lose the settings, with a new CR 2032 battery, making sure to position the positive pole upwards. Put the cover back on and press until it locks in place and check for proper operation.

How to replace the Ford Transit key battery

Below I will explain how to replace the remote control key battery on the car, take a small screwdriver and pry the rear part of the remote control, (where there is the ring), at which point unhook the back cover and yes will have access to the compartment containing the battery. Always with the help of the small screwdriver, proceed to make the va and lift the battery out of the housing. Then take the new battery (check the type) and place it on the housing, always making sure to position it with the positive pole facing upwards. Finally, close the back cover by re-hooking it to the key.
